After gaining her pro license in 2006 Kate placed 6th in her pro debut at Ironman Lanzarote, 4th at the 2006 IMWA and then capped it all off with another fantastic 4th placing at 2007 Ironman Australia in a very strong field!

2008 has seen Kate post wins in her first two starts - first at the Port of Tauranga Half Ironman in New Zealand and then at the City of Perth Triathlon.

She capped off a great start to 2008 with an early Hawaii qualification when she took 2nd place at Ironman New Zealand. It took a course record from winner Jo Lawn to keep Kate off the top step of the podium!

More recently she has taken third in the Honu 70.3 race in Hawaii and is now back in Perth fine tuning her preparation for the 2008 Hawaii Ironman.
